Get involved! Help shape our 5-year plan

We’re preparing a plan that that will set out what services we’ll deliver, what we’ll invest, and how much you’ll pay as a South East Water customer between 2028-33.

Your feedback will help us decide: the drinking water, sewerage and recycled water services we provide, the infrastructure we build and upgrade, and the prices we set for these 5 years. We want to make sure our plan reflects what matters most to you.

It will be reviewed by the Essential Services Commission (ESC) to ensure that:

  • Our prices are fair
  • Our investments are responsible and customer‑focused.

This plan is called a price submission – and you’re invited to help.

How to have your say

Help us develop our plan by participating in any (or all) of these options. We’ll take on community recommendations wherever we can – and explain clearly when we can’t.

Community Panel and Customer Voice Groups

    What are they?

We are inviting customers and community members to help shape our Price Submission 2028–33 (PS28) through participation in a Community Panel or Customer Voice Groups.

The panels bring together a diverse and representative mix of customers to explore what matters most and navigate the trade‑offs involved in planning water services for today and the future.

Panel members will be supported with clear, accessible information and opportunities to:

    • Learn about key challenges and trade‑offs, including affordability, reliability, environmental outcomes and future investment
    • Explore priorities influencing services, inclusion, innovation, pricing and long‑term planning
    • Share lived experience, test future options and provide informed input into our Price Submission

Participation takes place through facilitated workshops designed to support respectful discussion and informed deliberation.

    How are they being recruited?

To ensure a fair and representative process, invitations are being sent to randomly selected customers via mail and email.

If you receive an invitation, you can register your interest to take part and if selected, will be paid for your time and contribution.

While this is not an open expression of interest, there will be multiple opportunities to have your say as PS28 engagement continues, and we will share how community input influences our decisions.

    What's ahead in 2026

You’ll have more chances to share your views, both in person and online, for example by using an online water bill simulator or applying to join our Community Panel. We will report back what we hear from community at each step.
